Ministry leaders can often sense that someone is stuck, or growing, without being able to say where they actually are — or what would help them take a real next step. Spiritual formation is inward, uneven, and rarely moves in a straight line, so it's easy to see that something is happening and hard to see what. The Dynamic Journey Framework (DJF) makes formation visible: a shared way to see where a person stands, how they're growing, and what would help — so a church or ministry can help people grow into Christ's likeness

The DJF is built on a synthesis of research across theology, psychology, and missiology, drawing together a large body of established models of how people grow and change. But it isn't a theory to study — it's translated into something a pastor or volunteer leader can actually use with the people they serve. It's meant to support a leader's discernment and relationships, not replace them.
