The Digital Mission Consortia is a partnership convened by the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center together with OneHope and other gospel ministries. It brings together a global community of ministry leaders, researchers, funders, and missiologists around a shared conviction: that the work of showing and sharing the gospel in digital spaces is too complex for any one ministry to carry alone. Its aim is to strengthen digital ministry across the board — identifying best practices, spreading innovation, and recommending standards to guide the field in the decades ahead. The Dynamic Journey Framework grew out of this work, though its concern reaches further than digital ministry alone, toward the shape of spiritual formation as a whole.

The framework began with a gap in the Consortia’s research. Across its work in digital ministry, one difficulty surfaced repeatedly: ministries could reach people but couldn’t tell whether anyone was being formed. The available measures counted activity — views, clicks, attendance — while real spiritual growth stayed out of view. The Dynamic Journey Framework was built to close that gap: to give ministry leaders a grounded way to see whether formation is actually happening, not just the activity around it.

The Dynamic Journey Framework is still taking shape. Its research and structure are actively being developed and strengthened, and this site will grow into its main public home as that work continues. The direction is set: to become something ministry leaders can take up and put to work in their own contexts. The framework provides the research and the structure; how it is applied — in a given church, ministry, or season — is theirs to shape.
